This 14-day-old litter of baby rats just starting to open their eyes, shows the difference between Pearl (L), Cinnamon Pearl
(middle), and Cinnamon (R). Cinnamon Pearl is a combination of Pearl + Cinnamon. You can tell the difference between Pearl
and Cinnamon Pearl when the fur starts coming in by the bit of orange on the sides/head of a Cinnamon Pearl where a Pearl
looks like an off-white/very pale grayish white color. As adults, Cinnamon Pearls look orange compared to the warm brown of a
Cinnamon. They also have the creamy undercolor at the base of the hairs where Cinnamons have a medium gray. Rats owned and
bred by Karen Robbins, Karen’s Kritters.

This shows the difference between a Russian Cinnamon Pearl female (L) vs. a Cinnamon Pearl male (R). The Russian Cinnamon
Pearl has the “blue” look and is a more muted color due to the dilution of the Russian Blue where the Cinnamon
Pearl is a rich bright orange color. Russian Cinnamon Pearl owned and bred by Mayumi Anderson, Bii Rattery, Cinnamon Pearl
