Rodent Fleas
Fleas carried by rodents (including wild Brown rats and
house mice) have been found to carry several strains
of Bartonella bacteria. These emerging zoonotic bacteria
cause serious illness in humans from heart disease, to
infection of the spleen and nervous system, to vision problems.
